my monthly post....

yes, it does seem to be a long time between them but 14 hour days makes for a tired baby....

I am glad to see some of the guys I trained over the years doing so well...makes me proud and they treat me like a feeble old man till we get on the scaffold and then they just grin...one is actually Superintendent on this job

this April 28 Ethan will graduate from Navy boot...he has a new Marksmanship ribbon for his chest and dad is proud of all the years we trained...will update on this after my trip to Great Lakes...

birds are doing well in the orchard and the chicks in the garage will be down there next weekend come hell or high water...goats will be coming home then also....pictures will be included

trying to get a plan for next winters trip south....any ideas from the viewing audience?

trying to finish a trim job this weekend if the rain stays away...just because my saw will have to remain outside...

we had a lightning standdown a couple days ago...3 hours in the tent with these guys is enough...lots of sleeping going on

  1. I wish for your son to be very successful for however long he decides to stay in the military. I also hope he stays safe. I have a special place in my heart for the young men and women in the military. All the men on my dad's side of the family served on one branch or the other. My dad was a Navy pilot. Now I have a son in law in the Air Force as you know. I just hope they all stay safe.

I can't say anything else here. Thanks for posting. I will check in again in a month...

    2. That would be nice. You know the first time I ran across you on Multiply you had posted something about you and your son. There was a picture of him and he was just a young boy. How time flies. Of course that was way before we actually started communicating, though I did leave you a comment you never replied. I guess you were one of those friend of a friend of a friend people that came up in my notices or something. We ran in different circles over there, and I guess we still do !
