graduation is behind him....life is in front....he was sooooo glad to have a few hours of liberty so we ate at his favorite....Friday’s....many dollars later we went to the motel and just relaxed for a few hours, he took a long hot shower , alone....LOLOLOL....then he went to get his stuff and bus to O’hara where we met him for breakfast at 0630 before his flight to LA at 0900...some guy eating next to us got up and thanked him for his service and said breakfast was paid for....and the French toast at the airport Chili’s was $11.95...my burger was almost 13....so the guy shelled out over $60 for someone he didn’t know...I got a cold chill
his division performed the ceremony and Ethan was carrying the Illinois state flag...it was impressive and flawless....
right after we left the graduation we met up with younger sis and his buddy Casey
a few tears insued...
right after breakfast was paid for...and just before he boarded for A school in Cali...
He is a handsome young man and a big CONGRATULATIONS to him, and to the dad who got him this far in life. I have no doubt he will go far. That's wonderful .to have the meal paid for by someone who appreciates our military. I don't often run into active duty servicemen when I am out, but I have bought dinner for a few veterans through the years. Good luck Ethan !
