I wrote this about a girl from 40 years ago...yes, I loved her like I was in my 20’s....very different feelings


as the light begins to fade
darkness washes away the day
calm takes hold and I remember 
nights with you in my arms
time has taken you away
but time hasn’t gotten into my mind yet

    Lovely sentiments inspired by long ago young love. I think most of us have a special place for someone from our younger days. For me, love encompasses so much more than what I understood back in that time.
