Eulogy for a friend....she will be missed

Like all of us, at first, for a long while, she wasn't.
And then, one day, she was! She was, for a time, she was.
But too soon, too suddenly, she wasn't anymore.
And she won't ever be again.
But for I time, she was. And I remember.
