May 1, 2016....official day of retirement
Worked every year since...mostly spring and fall as I don't care to freeze or melt....I could work 1700 hours a year which is almost full time...but I'm good with 12-14 weeks at this pay rate.....built a house with it without borrowing from a bank.
I remember reading about someone living on a cruise ship full time....only around $100 a day but EVERYTHING is free and you get to sit with the Captain at dinner. Let me think about this a bit more..........
I read about someone who did that too. But I am not sure I would enjoy being on a cruise ship for that long. A week was pretty much enough for me years ago. The food was good though, but I would be two ton Tessy if I could eat like that everyday!
