Jan 1 isn’t a big deal for me....just another day that was usually a day off. everyday is a day off now so it has even less meaning except for my brother getting another year older...we have a toast together and catch both of us since mine is just a few days away. this year for my birthday I will be watching an Atlas V launch with my boy, something neither have seen but I think it will be memorial. the rest of the trip is unplanned as we like to be able to drift and be spontaneous.....after our return I will be in the shop assembling a hunting camper for next season...that will be my springtime project even though it is winter.

I think unplanned is always the best way to go on any trip. Rocket launches are great. I see them quite often, but mostly from my backyard.
