~~Not For You~~






An angel in my heart
to keep my spirit soaring
I gaze upon this world 
and watch the tempest roaring

High above the pain
away from all the grief
I listen to her song
and in it find relief

Sing oh lonely angel
be my siren on yon shore
I am tethered to the masthead
until I hear you nevermore

The years will come and go
with this angel in my heart
I will always keep her near
although we will always be apart

    a friend of mine has this hanging in her house....I took this picture 7 years ago then wrote the poem to go with it...it’s not for anyone actually...maybe someone will paint stars in the night sky someday
