what became of the day?



I was enjoying the morning till the sun cuddled up in a blanket of clouds and the gray settled in. As the gray lingered all afternoon I remembered a movie where a dying soldier looked up and said ‘’The sky is  so blue today.’’ just before he died.
I looked up and thought, it’s such a beautiful cloudy day.
