I have learned through the years that even the experts can be in error. Does that mean I don’t believe what they say at all? Hardly. It means that they are human yet they are honest enough and brave enough to admit a mistake. By doing this they open themselves up to finding and correcting their error.
Now if we are to learn anything from this it isn’t to not trust people, but to listen and use our own common sense in doing so. This way we can cull the nonsense from the information and carry away a bit of the enlightenment. After awhile we can put together a picture that makes sense not only to ourselves but to others with some common sense of vision in what we have to offer.
All the while we hear conflicting information being offered up by those who have different agendas. When we look at it we can’t seem to find a thread of reason that goes along with the facts we already know so the sifting begins and we can dismiss some if not all the information being presented by what sometimes seems a disillusioned individual.
I am not here to convince anyone of what I have learned to be true. I will however continue to present the facts as I have learned them and let sensible people discern for themselves what ever they will. In this way I will find people with reasonable thought patterns to continue conversations with.
And while I never claim to be an expert I will claim to be a learned individual willing to combine my learning with others to expand said understanding if possible.
keeping an open mind is the best way to go on.......... It's too bad we are often surrounded by those who have only closed minds, and a one way of thinking........
